About the role
We're seeking an experienced Senior Support Worker / Team Leader to lead frontline care delivery within our crisis and supported living environments. This dual-purpose role combines hands-on support work with shift leadership responsibilities, ensuring we deliver safe, consistent, and high-quality care for individuals with complex needs.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct support to individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and mental health challenges
- Lead and supervise support teams during shifts, ensuring adherence to care plans and safety protocols
- Manage crisis situations with calm professionalism and appropriate intervention techniques
- Mentor and guide junior support workers, providing on-the-job coaching and development
- Communicate effectively with individuals, families, healthcare professionals, and internal teams
